Belsham in surprise departure from Walmart’s

Simon Belsham is leaving Walmart's

Walmart’s ecommerce business is to part company with Simon Belsham, the former Tesco chief digital officer and boss who only joined in March last year.

Belsham, who also previously worked for Ocado as director of non-food, will leave in August.

His departure is part of a restructuring as Walmart and – which the US giant acquired for $3bn in 2016 – merge teams including retail, marketing, technology and others within Walmart.
