Dutch value retailer Hema will launch its UK online shop in September after debuting its first store in London in June.
The website, which will trade from Hemashop.com, will sell products across beauty, kids, home, stationery, cook, food and seasonal products.
Hema launched in the UK with a store in Victoria Station in London in June. It has since opened two further stores; a two-floor 4,300 sq ft shop in Kingston at the end of June and a 4,800 sq ft store in Bromley’s The Glades shopping centre this month.
Hema, which generated sales of €1.2bn (£951.7m) in 2012, operates more than 600 stores across the Netherlands, France, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Property agent Harper Dennis Hobbs is advising Hema on its UK expansion.
