Mosaic Fashions has signed two exclusive franchise deals in India and Russia.
The Baugur-owned fashion giant has struck a deal with former Mexx boss Ashish Sen Sarma for Oasis and Warehouse in India.
It will launch up to six Oasis stores in the Mumbai and Delhi areas from next spring. Warehouse shops will also open there in spring 2009.
Mosaic group strategy and development director Meg Lustman said: “India will be a big market for us in the future.”
In Russia, new franchise partner FD Lab will open 10 standalone stores for both the Warehouse and Principles brands in Moscow within 18 months.
Under an existing Russian franchise agreement with Centrepoint, Mosaic will also open about seven shops for both Oasis and Karen Millen in the country.
