Kiddicare chief marketing officer and Morrisons marketing director for online non-food Alison Lancaster has left the business.

Retail Week understands Lancaster, who joined Kiddicare last year, is to leave the business to join designer outlet McArthurGlen on an interim basis.

Her move comes amid significant change at Peterborough-based Kiddicare.

Nigel Robertson was appointed as chief executive in March. He succeeded former boss and founder Scott Weavers-Wright who moved to join Morrisons online grocery team.

Kiddicare raided fashion retailer Jack Wills to appoint Tim Patten as multichannel marketing director this month and hired new commercial director Alex Fisher from Tesco in April.

Lancaster joined Morrisons in 2012 from White Stuff where she was cross channel director since 2009. She has also held senior positions at Feather & Black, Harrods, Charles Tyrwhitt and John Lewis.

A Kiddicare spokeswoman confirmed Lancaster’s departure and said: “Kiddicare has recruited two key new members to its management board including Alex Fisher from Tesco, who joined the business in April as commercial director and, most recently, Tim Patten joins as multichannel marketing director from Jack Wills. Both report directly to Kiddicare and Morrisons non-food chief executive Nigel Robertson.”

Lancaster could not be reached for comment.
