B&Q is going on Sale this weekend as it gives customers a “sneak preview” of its January Sale.

It is another example of retailers launching promotional activity early to grab their share of Christmas and New Year spend.

Store groups including Asda and Argos made an earlier-than-ever play for Christmas spend this year by launching voucher offers in October.

From November 26-29 B&Q customers can snap up deals such as half price kitchen doors and drawer fronts and half price on Cooke & Lewis bathroom suites .

The DIY giant will also price match against itself, so if the same kitchen, bathroom or bedroom is found cheaper in the B&Q sale after Christmas, the retailer will refund the difference.

40 styles of kitchens are on offer, as well as 29 bathroom suites and 15 bedroom ranges inclsuinf fitted furniture.

B&Q’s director of showroom Katharine Poulter said: “As a result of the tougher financial conditions, we’re seeing more customers than ever opting to improve their homes, rather than moving.

“Over the four day promotion customers will have the opportunity to shop knowing that they will get the best price before the sale has even started, thereby allowing them to spread the cost over a longer period.

“Our price guarantee also helps ensure that any purchases made during the sale are protected, thereby giving customers peace of mind that their bargain will remain just that.”
