Retailer reshuffles business unit directors
Bookseller and stationer WHSmith is to combine its Entertainment and News & Impulse business units under the leadership of Phil McNally, currently News & Impulse Business Unit director.

The move is a change to the reporting structure only and will not affect the day-to-day operational ways of working, said the company.

In addition, Entertainment Business Unit director David Pierpoint has been appointed Books Business Unit director while Rachel Russell, the current director, is on maternity leave from the end of May.

There will be no change to the Stationery business unit and all changes are effective from the beginning of April.
