Fashion retailer Mackays made pre-tax profits of £9.2 million in the year to February 23, up from £8.9 million for the same period last year.
According to accounts filed at Companies House, turnover was also ahead on last year at£3.8 million, up from£3.2 million the previous year.
Mackays, which operates more than 300 stores in the UK and runs a transactional web site, opened its first stores in Ireland this year at Larne, County Antrim and Banbridge, County Down.
