JD Sports-owned rugby brand Canterbury has signed a four year kit deal with the Rugby Football Union and will supply kit to the England team.

Canterbury replaces sports giant Nike. The deal is understood to be worth £20m.

The JD Sports owned brand currently sponsors rugby world champions South Africa and has previously supplied New Zealand, Australia and Ireland.

The brand is stocked by retailers such as Scotts and Next.
