Retailers pledge donations in fight against Australian bushfires

Australia fires 2020

Several retailers have pledged money to the appeal to support those fighting the devastating bushfires in Australia.

Pets at Home, PrettyLittleThing and Marks & Spencer Australia are just some of the retailers donating a proportion of sales or a lump sum to help support the efforts of those fighting the fires spreading across the country.

Pets at Home is donating £100,000 (AUS $190,000) to WWF through its VIP loyalty programme Lifelines, which allows customers to earn money for good causes when they purchase items in-store.

Fashion brand PrettyLittleThing has pledged £157,000 (AUS $300,000). The donation will be equally shared between Wires Wildlife Rescue, Red Cross Australia and the New South Wales Rural Fire Service.
