Asos sparks race controversy over black model
Asos is involved in a race scandal after using a black model's arm to show a range of lighter-coloured liquid foundations, the Daily Mail reported.
Twitter users have accused Asos of reducing the black model to a 'prop' by highlighting six Maybelline Fit Me! foundation cream colour far lighter than her skin.
The foundation cream, aimed at white people, was dotted on the model’s arm in shades from ivory to buff.
Dunnes Stores to unveil “Francis Brennan the Collection"
Dunnes Stores will launch a range of branded bed linen and homewares products named “Francis Brennan the Collection” on September 29 in “select” stores and online, according to the Irish Times.
The range of products which includes towels, candles, soaps and toiletries can be seen at the Dunnes website.
Irish hotelier and television personality Francis Brennan's collection is being regarded by Dunnes as “affordable luxury for the savvy shopper”.
