Kingfisher chief of sales and retail operations Jean-Paul Constant is departing the DIY group after less than a year in the role, Retail Week can reveal.
The B&Q and Screwfix owner poached Constant from Decathlon last year to replace senior directors Guy Colleau and Alain Souillard.
The exit follows a series of blows for the DIY giant, which is currently implementing an ambitious five-year turnaround plan – One Kingfisher – masterminded by group chief executive Véronique Laury.
Just last week, Retail Week revealed that B&Q retail director Damian McGloughlin was leaving the retailer to join its new UK rival Bunnings.
McGloughlin, who served a 32-year tenure at B&Q, has been placed on gardening leave and will take up his new post as Bunnings chief operating officer later this year.

Former B&Q boss Michael Loeve also left the retailer earlier this year to become vice president of Netto International.
His replacement, Christian Mazauric, who previously ran Kingfisher’s Brico Depot fascia in Romania, will take up the reins at B&Q from July 1.
Kingfisher said its first-quarter sales were knocked by ‘business disruption’ as it cleared old ranges and introduced its new unified offer.
A Kingfisher spokesman confirmed Constant’s exit but did not disclose the reason for his departure.
