Jysk sales surge as homewares boom drives further store expansion

Danish furniture and home furnishings chain Jysk has recorded a surge in full-year sales despite lockdown restrictions as the retailer gears up to increase its UK store footprint by half.

The Scandinavian homewares retailer reported a 67% rise in total sales across the UK and Ireland to €68.9m (£58.5m) in its 2020-21 financial year, driven by a 30% increase in shopper numbers to 1.1 million.
