Ikea UK has launched a services offer which will allow shoppers to access help with moving house, finding new energy suppliers and options for home finance.
The furniture giant has debuted the ‘Life at Home’ offer, which “introduces a series of expanded services tailored to meet a variety of at-home needs,” according to the retailer.
To help shoppers move home, Ikea has partnered with Just Move In to launch its own Home Move & Setup service, which promises to take care of time-consuming tasks associated with relocating. The service promises to handle admin tasks like transferring bills, subscriptions and utilites, price comparing broadband and redirecting mail – allowing customers more time to “focus on personalising their new dream home”.
The service also helps shoppers book basic relocation needs like support for removals, storage and deep cleaning properties.
The Life at Home offer includes a service assisting shoppers with the switch to renewable energy providers. The retailer is set to recommend providers via the service to make renewable energy ”more accessible and affordable” and connect shoppers with heat pump, solar panel, battery and EV charger providers.
The Ikea Family Credit Card has also launched as part of the services offer, and will allow shoppers to spread the cost of small to medium-ticket purchases with flexible repayments. The credit card offers 0% interest instalment plans on qualifying purchases and shoppers can earn Ikea Family Reward points while they shop.
Customers earn one point for every £5 spent at IKEA and one point for every £10 spent at any other retailer, which can be redeemed for discounts, free items, and other perks.
