The Perfume Shop said its price-freeze initiative, rolled out in late 2022, has saved UK shoppers more than £870,000 this year.

The Perfume Shop will be extending its price freeze on selected fragrances until 2024

The fragrance retailer announced a price freeze on more than 138 bestselling fragrances, including brands like Calvin Klein Obsession and Pascal Morabito Gold Oud Edition, until 2024 to support customers through the cost-of-living crisis.

The Perfume Shop said it saw an increase in customers shopping directly from the price-freeze section on the website as lower-priced fragrances saw an increase in popularity.

The retailer added that there will be no price increases on the fragrances it expects to be top sellers this year as it continues to be committed to supporting customers during the festive season.

Customers also receive an additional 10% off all price-freeze lines on signing up to The Perfume Shop’s VIP Rewards Club scheme, which had more than 5 million members as of July 2023.

The Perfume Shop’s managing director Gill Smith said: “We launched our price-freeze commitment last October and, by extending it to include even more top brands until 2024, we hope that our customers can treat friends, family or themselves with the knowledge that our prices won’t change.

“It’s great to see so many of our customers shopping in this section. We know our customers will be looking to purchase perfumes in the lead-up to special events such as Christmas, so we’ve made sure we have lots of options to choose from across different price points.”
