French beauty retailer Sephora is set to open its second store in the UK in Westfield Stratford City, London.

The beauty giant opened its UK comeback store at Westfield London, Shepherdâs Bush, in March this year after the launch of its website and app in autumn 2022.
Sephora, which is part of the LVMH luxury group, said it expected to open its second store in November, after the âhuge successâ of its first store and âunprecedented demandâ for its app and website.
This comes after Retail Week reported that Sephoraâs London store was performing more than 300% better than was predicted.
Speaking at the World Retail Congress in Barcelona in April, LVMH retail boss Christopher de Lapuente said the Sephora store in Westfield London was performing â300% better than we expected within the first eight weeksâ in terms of sales.
âWeâre off to a fabulous start,â he continued. âThe opening day we had 5,000 people queuing outside the store. I was there, and some people started queueing at midnight. And there were no Sales.
âIt was 5,000 people wanting to enjoy the Sephora experience and itâs the power of the brand. They didnât come to buy lipstick at half price. They came to discover Sephora, the products, the assortment, which is part of the magic.â
