Supermarket giant Tesco has today (February 17) announced that it has opened an extra 120,000 home delivery slots ahead of the upcoming Easter period.

The retailer said it was opening six weeks of slots covering the full Easter school holidays for the first time, in a bid to “help even more households secure a slot”.
Booking will be available for home delivery and click-and-collect slots from February 24, running through to mid-April. Tesco said it was “making it easier than ever for customers planning an Easter getaway to get everything they need – whether that’s having groceries delivered direct to their holiday home or collecting an order from one of the hundreds of click-and-collect locations nationwide”.
Customers signed up to Tesco on an Anytime Delivery Saver or click-and-collect plan can access slots from February 24, while other customers will be able to save a slot from March 3.
Tesco’s online customer director Jillian Lidgate said: “With 120,000 extra home delivery and click-and-collect slots available this Easter, we’re making it easier for customers to plan their celebrations with great-quality products delivered direct to their door or click-and-collect location of their choice.
“Whether they need to get the essentials for their staycation or everything they need to host Easter Sunday lunch, customers can get one thing sorted early – their delivery slot.”
Anytime Delivery Saver is a 12-month subscription offer launched by Tesco.
