Morrisons was forced to stop playing England World Cup songs in its Scottish stores last week after customers complained it was rubbing in that their team did not qualify for the tournament.
The Bradford-based grocer said it had accidentally added the songs to the playlist that was being broadcast across its UK estate. Given England’s early exit, the Scots might be requesting for Morrisons reinstate Vindaloo and Three Lions on the playlist.
