Morrisons has rebranded its Wimbledon store to Murriwins after tennis star Andy Murray took home the men’s singles title on Sunday.

Morrisons has changed its fascia in light of Murrays win at the weekend.

The supermarket chain tweeted: “Congrats to #Wimbledon Champion @andy_murray! How are you celebrating? We’ve given our store a special makeover.”

It’s the second time Morrisons has renamed its Wimbledon store to support the tennis hero during the event, with the store changing its name to Murrisons at the start of the competition.

Murray became the first British men’s singles champion at Wimbledon since Fred Perry lifted the trophy in 1936.
