Iceland and Farmfoods are the latest retailers to be targeted as part of a dairy farmers’ campaign to win a fairer price for milk.

Protests will be staged outside the retailers’ stores in Scotland, according to The Scotsman.

Most of the big supermarkets have bowed to pressure from farmers who have staged ongoing demonstrations about the below cost price they receive for milk.

Asda, Morrisons, Lidl and The Co-operative have all agreed to up the price they pay following protests. However Iceland and Farmfoods have so far made no move to alter their pricing strategy.
