Aldi increases base rate of pay for warehouse workers
Discounter Aldi has raised the base rate of pay for its warehouse workers by 20%, following on from an increase for store staff earlier in the month.
The pay rise will come into effect from February 1 and will bring Aldiās 7,000 warehouse workersā base pay up to Ā£13.18 an hour. It is the third pay increase for warehouse workers at the discounter since January 1, 2022, and takes Aldiās investment in pay over the period to Ā£100m.
