Consumer confidence hits highest level in two years in August
The latest consumer confidence survey from GfK shows that consumer sentiment continued to improve in August, hitting the highest levels seen in two years.
Consumer sentiment increased three percentage points in August to -14, well ahead of the -25 registered four months ago in April, before the start of summer.
