Tesco’s Brixton store recently had a phoney Tesco Value pump slipped amongst its merchandise that was labelled a ‘profit inflator’.
Tesco is living up to its ‘Every little helps’ mantra by inadvertently stocking a quick fix to any financial woes. In its Brixton store, a ‘profit inflator’ was spotted for the bargain price of £1. Pranksters id-iom are behind the phoney Tesco Value pump, which features a “please use carefully” warning – apt considering Tesco is being investigated over its £263m profit overstatement.
