Canadian health and beauty retailer Fruits and Passion is to open its first store in London early next year, following a UK trial in Manchester this summer.

Fruits & Passion, which was founded 15 years ago, wants 25 stores in the UK in the next three to five years. It has been eyeing London’s Covent Garden and Oxford Street for potential sites, along with the west London White City shopping centre. It is also considering other cities including Cardiff, Glasgow and Leeds.

The retailer, which has stores and concessions in the US, Europe, Asia and the Middle East as well as Canada, has been brought to the UK by former Lush board director Heather Williams. She said: “From the reaction to our first store, I know Fruits & Passion will do well.”

Fruits & Passion stocks a range of products for the home and kitchen, along with beauty and pet-care products.
