Laura Ashley UK like-for-likes grew 5.4% in the 18 weeks to June 2.

Total UK sales advanced 4.1% over the period.

Laura Ashley has also experienced a jump in online sales which increased 18.8%. The retailer put the rise down to the functionality improvements it has made to its website. It has also recently launched a mobile website and has expanded its online service to France.

The retailer said it is confident that its “well-established brand, high-quality product offering and strong balance sheet” will lead to further like-for-like growth throughout 2012.
