Missguided’s chief financial officer Paul Masters has left the business after two years in the role.

Masters has been at the helm of the fashion retailer’s financial division since February 2015. His next move is not known.

Prior to joining Missguided, Masters held a variety of roles at sportswear supplier Umbro over a ten-year period before joining fashion retailer Bench, where he culminated as interim chief executive.

A spokeswoman for the retailer said: “We can confirm that Paul Masters has left by amicable and mutual agreement following discussions around the long-term strategy for the business.

“Nittin Passi, chief executive, would like to personally thank Paul for the tremendous contribution he has made to both the success of Missguided over the last two years and in laying foundations for the next phase of growth for the business.”

The fast-fashion retailer reported a 75% jump in its full-year sales in May and opened its second bricks-and-mortar store in Bluewater last month.
