Online fashion retailer Shein has ventured into bricks and mortar as it showcased some of its most popular items at a pop-up store event in London.
Shein’s three-day event – that started the day before London’s Fashion Week began on Friday, September 13 – was the second event of its kind this year.
The Chinese retailer’s UK general manager Cui He said the pop-up event gives customers a chance to see the quality of the garments, try things on and purchase their favourite pieces.
Shein has over 100,000 own design and wholesale items online and has been running for 11 years. The online retailer ships to America, Europe, the Middle East and China but doesn’t currently offer next-day delivery in the UK – something which He said the retailer is working on.
