John Lewis is to extend its in-store dining offer by rolling out more eateries in partnership with Joe & The Juice and Rossopomodoro.

More Rossopomodoro restauants will open in John Lewis stores

The juice and snacks and Italian restaurants will open in another 10 John Lewis locations over the next year.

Retailers are increasingly incorporating restaurants into their stores to draw footfall, increase dwell time and in some cases address excess space issues.

The openings follow the launch of Joe & The Juice in John Lewis’s Solihull branch, and Ham Holy Burger and Rossopomodoro restaurants in its Oxford Street flagship.

John Lewis head of food service Alison Smith said: “Customers have welcomed the introduction of new and exciting places for them to refresh and refuel, and continuing our partnership will allow us to offer another compelling reason for customers to shop with us.”

Joe & The Juice and Rossopomodoro will both open in John Lewis’s Newcastle store.

More Joe & The Juice branches will open in John Lewis in Bluewater, Watford and the new Birmingham shop.

Rossopomodoro will open in the Kingston store. Other locations will follow.

Both food brands will run pop-up restaurants at the ‘summer retreat’ on the rooftop of the Oxford Street shop.
