Harvey Nichols has unveiled a new jewellery department at its Knightsbridge flagship

The new-look jewellery department is the latest phase of Harvey Nichols’ transformation of the Knightsbridge shop, and is designed to “excite and inspire” customers.

The department is in the 125 area of Harvey Nichols – a “reimagined” ground floor intended to be a destination in its own right. It features a variety of UK-exclusive brands and promises “a selection that spans every price point”.

Harvey Nichols chief executive Julia Goddard said: “Jewellery is the first category our customers see when they enter Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge and it conveys the same sense of discovery and excitement we want to project across the rest of the store. This is the first phase of our ground floor refurbishment and, together with the opening up of the windows, marks a bright new era for our flagship.”

Harvey Nichols chief merchant Kate Benson said: “Jewellery has shed its identity as a mere signifier of status and become the ultimate mode of self-expression. We are excited to be able to bring our unique point of view to the category and offer our clientele a jewellery selection they won’t find anywhere else”.

Goddard joined Harvey Nichols from fashion brand Alexander McQueen last year to reinvigorate the retailer. Owner and chair Sir Dickson Poon said then: “Her expertise and strategic capabilities will be invaluable in delivering long-term sustainable growth for Harvey Nichols.”
