Fashion etailer Asos launched its first outdoor ad campaign last Friday.

The ads, targeted at young women, will be displayed on billboards nationwide for 10 days.

The campaign features models wearing trend-focused outfits from its autumn/winter Asos main collection. The billboard ads have been created with minimal wording, simply displaying the web address and the tagline The Online Fashion Store.

Asos sales rocketed 47% in the six months to September 30 with profits “marginally ahead” of last year. The fashion etailer now has 1.2 million active customers, up from 890,000 in the same period last year.
