JD Sports Fashion has hired former Reiss trading director Gwynn Milligan as managing director of its fashion fascia Bank.
Milligan, who was most recently trading director at Reiss, where she left in January after just seven months in the role, replaces Peter Alecock, who becomes group commercial operations director at JD Sports Fashion.
Alecock will report to the board on operational matters in JD’s fashion business.
Milligan held senior management positions at Arcadia and Asos prior to Reiss. She also had a short stint as managing director of etailer Cococa, owned by Mohamed Al Fayed, where she left in March last year.
JD Fashion executive chairman Peter Cowgill said: “We are delighted that Gwynn has joined the group and that Peter has agreed to take up a wider role with the larger group. These changes help to further strengthen our management team across the group.”
