Iceland is launching its Christmas ad this evening starring pop star Peter Andre, who is releasing an exclusive festive album with the retailer.

The ad, which makes its debut during Emmerdale tonight, follows Andre’s Iceland debut in September and continues his journey of being amazed at Iceland’s “outstanding value, great quality and industry leading innovation across its festive ranges”, according to the retailer.

It showcases Iceland’s Christmas range and features an exclusive Christmas song which Andre has written and recorded for Iceland entitled ‘Christmas Time’s For Family’.

Iceland head of marketing Alison Laverick said: “We’re thrilled to feature Peter in our Christmas adverts this year. We’ve received a very good response to the recent adverts he’s starred in and we’re confident that the campaign will bring some festive cheer into households across Britain.”

Andre’s festive album, ‘White Christmas’, will be available exclusively in UK Iceland stores from November 11 and features classics such as Last Christmas and Jingle Bell Rock.

Andre is also releasing a new album called ‘Peter’s Big Night, which will be sold in Iceland. Both albums are priced at £4.99 or £7 for two.
