Topman is testing the market for higher-end formalwear with a new limited edition £200 suit.
The suit is a “super skinny” fit and is being trialled online and in the retailer’s Oxford Circus, New York and Manchester Arndale stores.
Topman’s mainline suit ranges retail from £80. The suit launched last week in black and grey, and has already had a good response from customers, according to a Topman spokeswoman.
She said the retailer was repeating the black option for August and extending it to a further four stores. Topman has yet to decide on another option to sit alongside it.
