Charity Super.Mkt opens new warehouse concept and pop-up space

The secondhand superstore has launched a new space at the O2 Centre on Finchley Road in west London that will allow shoppers to drop off good quality clothing and accessories that they no longer wear.

The warehouse will be open to the public through a series of events, including warehouse sales and workshops.

Charity Super.Mkt said the space will play a key role in processing items and distributing them to stores across the UK, including Brighton, Sheffield, Spitalfields and Glasgow.

The initiative reported it has helped find new owners for over 610,000 pieces of clothing and generated sales of over £6.5m, with proceeds helping to fund partner charities including Shelter, Cancer Research UK, Age UK and Traid.

Charity Super.Mkt co-founder Wayne Hemingway said: “It is through the generosity of landlords like Landsec and O2 Centre that Charity Super.Mkt continues to be able to take temporary unused spaces and turn that into total positivity, joy, environmental and social value.”

O2 Centre director Ant Foran added: “Demand for pre-loved fashion continues to grow year on year, and Charity Super.Mkt has already proven itself as an exciting and successful concept across the UK.
