Following the success of its Oxford Street flagship Primark is making steps to take the store design to its forthcoming new outlets in Bristol and Belfast.

Primark has had branches in both cities for a number of years. The Bristol branch was part of the city’s Broadmead shopping area, which is being redeveloped, so the value retailer will open a new store in the city.

The move is confirmation of the success the value retailer has enjoyed with the Dalziel + Pow-designed interior, which has helped it mantain a consistently high profile.

At present, Primark has a varied store portfolio in the UK and Ireland with its rapid growth in this country having come from the acquisition of packages of stores, including elements of the former C&A portfolio. These acquisitions include the Oxford Street flagship, although the ill-fated Allders occupied the site at Marble Arch prior to it becoming a Primark.
