Zara has confirmed the launch of its US website for September.

The Spanish high street fashion retailer launched an etail offer across Europe last year and has scheduled its online debut in the US for September 7.

Online sales continue to drive Zara’s growth. This month the fashion chain posted a surge in profit, which it attributed largely to its online business. Pre-tax profits in the year to January soared from £618,000 to £15.8m on the previous year. Sales, meanwhile, were up 7% to £332.4m.
