Brian Evans leaves garden centre retailer after three decades of service
Wyevale Garden Centres chairman Brian Evans has announced his retirement after 31 years at the retailer. He will leave the board on December 31. A search for his successor has already commenced and a replacement is expected to be chosen in the New Year.

In the meantime, the role will be taken up by Brent Wilkinson, who has been a non-executive director with the retailer for seven years.

The retailer said in a statement: 'The board wishes to express its thanks to Brian for the outstanding contribution he has made to the development of the business and to wish him a long and happy retirement.'
