TV cook Turner to front sandwiches
Woolworths is trialling branded sandwiches by celebrity chef Brian Turner at 33 stores across the country.
Turner is a regular on TV cooking show Ready Steady Cook and runs the restaurant at the Millennium Hotel in Grosvenor Square, London, where he specialises in traditional English fare.
The sandwiches will be distributed to Woolworths' entire sandwich-selling portfolio by Kerry Foods Direct to Store, whose sales and marketing director Paul Stubbins said: 'Branded products are crucial in the convenience marketplace.'
