Artificial intelligence and machine learning will be among the key technologies helping retailers to advance over the next 18 months.

Retail Week, in association with Salesforce, spoke to Shop Direct retail and technology director Jon Rudoe and Dixons Carphone head of technology Kash Ghedia, alongside Salesforce director of strategic solutions Jamie Merrick, to find out why technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, social, augmented reality and virtual reality will have such a big impact on UK retail going forward.

Shop Direct was named Pureplay Etailer of the Year at the Retail Week Awards in March, while Dixons Carphone won the award for Digital Pioneer of the Year.
