Ex-Ocado man to join at end of October
Waterstone's has appointed former Ocado head of trading and marketing Neil Jewsbury as commercial director.

Jewsbury will lighten the load for Waterstone's chief executive Gerry Johnson, who has been heading the commercial directive alongside his managing directorship.

Jewsbury will take up the post at the end of October. Johnson said of his appointment: 'As commercial director Neil will play a leading role in the future development of our offer, I am delighted that we have been able to attract someone of his calibre and experience'

Jewsbury has 20 years retail experience, specialising in multi-channel and international retail environments. He began his career at Marks & Spencer where he worked within the UK stores network and overseas operation in Hong Kong.

For the past 6 years Jewsbury has worked directly for internet grocery delivery service Ocado.
