Two more shopping centre stores acquired
Waterstone's is targeting prime shopping malls as the next phase of its expansion programme, and has already acquired two stores in the Midlands.

The bookseller has taken a 15-year lease on 6,425 sq ft (595 sq m) of space at Redditch's Kingfisher Shopping Centre, and 5,845 sq ft (545 sq m) of space at The Guildhall Centre, Stafford, with a combined rental of£300,000 a year.

Douglas Stephens & Co is letting agent for Scottish Widows at Redditch. Rowley Hughes Thompson is letting agent for Tops Estates at Stafford. King Sturge represented Waterstone's.
