John Lewis Partnership lets four units adjoining Food & Home store
John Lewis Partnership has completed the leasing on four new retail units adjoining the recently developed Waitrose Food & Home store at Cheltenham in Gloucestershire.

The store was developed on disused railway land on the edge of the town centre.

Tenants include 121-store chain Sally Hair and Beauty Supplies, contemporary furniture brand Maravilla and Fine Art UK. Each unit has been let on a 15-year lease with five-yearly reviews at an average rent of£17.50 per sq ft (£190 per sq m).

Donaldsons advised JLP, and letting agent Richard Knightly said: 'The St James's site has been derelict for some 30 years, so it's excellent news for Cheltenham that the retail development is now fully occupied. The retailers will compliment the adjoining store very well and create a focal point for retail in the town.'
