US lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret has reportedly postponed the opening of its two London stores.

The retailer had planned to open two stores, its first in the UK, on Bond Street and in Westfield Stratford just days before the Olympics in time to benefit from the flood of visitors expected to come to the capital. However, Vogue has reported that neither store will open in time for the Olympics.

A date for the openings has yet to be confirmed. A spokesperson told Vogue that the stores will not open in July as planned. Retail Week revealed in May that the retailer was planning to open stores in time for the Olympics.

Victoria’s Secret’s forthcoming UK flagship store at Bond Street will take over the site previously occupied by Pringle.
