The drinks retailer recently made a decision to rebrand its existing eight businesses and focus on the Wine Rack, Local and Thresher brands.
However, a review of the Scottish market has shown the Haddows and Victoria Wine brands have a strong presence north of the border. The retailer is therefore holding back on the rebranding programme in Scotland and is exploring a number of alternatives, including selling the businesses.
The company has enlisted advisers Noble & Company to assist in the next stage of the review process and expects a decision to take several months.
