Record rents for Scottish centre
Three more tenants have signed up for Crossland Properties' Kingsgate Shopping Centre at Dunfermline in Fife, at record rents for the town of more than£80 Zone A.

Kingsgate is Dunfermline's prime retail pitch, with 47 units totalling 141,000 sq ft (13,100 sq m). The centre, anchored by Marks & Spencer and Safeway, is now fully let. Julian Graves has taken 645 sq ft (60 sq m) on a 15-year lease at£34,000 a year, with 3 months rent free. Card Crazy has taken 1,410 sq ft (130 sq m) on a 10-year lease at£64,800 a year, with 3 months rent free and Herbmedic has taken a 10-year lease on 240 sq ft (20 sq m) for£28,500 a year.

Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker, and Eric Young & Co were the letting agents. Nick Farrell & Co represented Julian Graves, Morgan Martin acted for Card Crazy and Atis Real Weatheralls advised Herbmedic.

C&WH&B partner John Duffy said: 'These lettings demonstrate that Kingsgate remains the best retail location in Dunfermline. There are a number of other retailers keen to get into the centre and our clients are finalising extension proposals to accommodate them.'
