The Retail Week Awards, which have been celebrating excellence in the UK’s retail industry for over 30 years, have today revealed the 2026 shortlist.

Sponsored by Salesforce, the awards recognise and reward the extraordinary efforts of retail colleagues – shopworkers, delivery drivers and headquarters staff – and the retailers themselves.

The winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony on March 19, 2026, as it returns to the prestigious Grosvenor House in London.

This year, the Pride of Retail Award will return to reflect some of retail’s great, unsung heroes who have dedicated their lives to an industry and the customers they still live to serve.

Also returning is the EV Cargo Digital Excellence Award, which was introduced last year to reflect the evolving digital landscape and celebrate the cutting-edge technology initiatives being piloted by the UK’s best retailers.

Retail Week editor-in-chief Charlotte Hardie said: “Each year the Retail Week Awards shine a light on the extraordinary breadth, brilliance and innovation that defines UK retail – and 2026 is no exception.

“The sheer spectrum of brands shortlisted this year, from disruptive newcomers to established household names, is a testament to the creativity and relentless customer focus that power this industry.

“These awards remain one of the standout moments in the retail calendar, celebrating the people and businesses pushing boundaries and shaping the future of our sector.”

Salesforce senior vice-president, industrial, consumer and energy Navkinder Sanghera said: “Congratulations to those shortlisted for the Retail Week Awards 2026.

“It is genuinely inspiring to witness the remarkable calibre of work and dedication across our sector. Retail continues to lead the way in creativity, resilience and innovation, despite the many challenges facing it. By embracing a digital-first mindset and leveraging AI-powered technology, retailers are truly shaping a brighter future.

“Securing a spot on the shortlist is an extraordinary achievement. Each year, the standard of entries for these awards reaches new heights, and they are consistently filled with inspiring stories of innovation, pride and dedication.

“Your inclusion on the shortlist is a powerful testament to the dedication and extraordinary achievements happening right now in retail, and as judges, we know it will not be easy to decide on the winners.

“Good luck to all of you!”
