The Restaurant Group has launched a three-year expansion programme for its Frankie & Benny's and Chiquito's restaurant chains.

It wants more than 20 sites over the next three years in the south of England, in towns such as Colchester in Essex, Reigate in Surrey, Taunton in Somerset, and Oxford.

The group is looking for units ranging from 3,500 sq ft to 4,000 sq ft (325 to 370 sq m) for its 1950s-Italian-themed chain Frankie & Benny's, and Mexican-themed Chiquito's.
