- Body Shop owner LâOrĂ©al hopes to get ÂŁ850m for the famous retailer
Billionaire Andrea Bonomi, the investor who backs legendary car marque Aston Martin, is among the group of final bidders for The Body Shop.

The Body Shopâs owner LâOrĂ©al, which put the retailer up for sale earlier this year with a price tag of about ÂŁ850m, has included Bonomiâs Investindustrial among second-round bidders, City AM reported.
Other investors that have been linked to interest in The Body Shop include private-equity giant CVC Capital Partners, South Korean player CJ Group, and Advent International, which previously owned sofas specialist DFS.
Bonomi paid ÂŁ150m for a 37.5 per cent stake in Aston Martin in 2012, and his fund previously owned Italian bike-maker Ducati.
The Body Shop operates 3,000 stores in 66 countries.
