Tesco has signed up Michelle Mone, founder of lingerie specialist Ultimo, to design a range for its supermarkets.

The range, launched next month, will be called Diamond Boutique and could be the start of a potential£60m deal, according to the Sun.
Tesco said that if the lingerie range sells well in the UK it could roll it out to its stores worldwide.

Ultimo is sold in Debenhams stores and is fronted by celebrities including Spice Girl Mel B and glamour model Melinda Messenger.

A celebrity face is expected to be announced for its Tesco range.
