Ted Baker is preparing to open a store in Grafton Street, Dublin, as part of a push to open more international shops.
The retailer claims that the 3,900 sq ft (360 sq m) branch – its second store in Ireland – has been inspired by the Irish obsession with horses. More than 2,000 horseshoes have been used to create the interior, which has a flocked till point. Other elements include a revolving horse’s head and surreal equine paintings.
New international outlets that have welcomed their first customers include a second branch in Hong Kong, an outlet in Singapore and Ted Baker’s first store in Australia – in Melbourne.
Customers at the 3,010 sq ft (280 sq m) Hong Kong shop experience stately home decor and a contemporary setting as they walk through the store. At the rear is a walnut panelled back wall, while fitting rooms are covered from floor to ceiling in floral fabrics. Ted Baker now has 46 stores in nine countries.
