Debenhams is taking a single view of its customers to help it better target shoppers.

The department store is working with Sky IQ to build a system that will track usage patterns across different channels and recognise when shoppers log in on different channels.

The system will be accessible to all of Debenhams’ marketing and customer service teams and will help the retailer provide more targeted and effective marketing campaigns to its shoppers.

Debenhams marketing director Richard Cristofoli said:“The retail landscape is becoming more competitive and customer service is at the top of most business agendas. This includes delivering a more personalised service and getting information to customers in a more timely and efficient manner which is ultimately what underpins our bottom line.”
